Holistic Approach to Inclusion for Puplis with Autism
·have a greater understanding of how to write appropriate and relevant
education plans for pupils and students with Autism.
·understand how to connect assessments, with education planning and
interventions to create child centred approaches to teaching pupils with autism and to ensure effective inclusion.
Participants will reflect on their own practice in the classroom and whole school level and develop policies to support implementation of Autism friendly approaches to ensure inclusion.
Participants will understand how:
·the core features of sensory processing affect learners with Autism
·to analyse challenging behaviour to make accommodations for the learner with autism
·to bring together knowledge on the core features of autism to
effectively plan and include the child with Autism.
