Supporting Students with Numeracy Difficulties

This course is aimed at mainstream and Special Education Teachers at post-primary.

The course will explore mathematical assessment tools. 

It will discuss

• National and international research on numeracy.
• The types of Dyscalculia will be explored.
• Strategies for supporting students with numeracy difficulties in the classroom will be identified.
• Interventions to support numeracy at individual and whole school levels will be highlighted.
