ONLINE: Explore meaningful integration of STEM across the curriculum
Course Highlights:
Synchronous Learning: 10 hours of live online sessions to trial activities that foster children's curiosity with real-world relevance to Irish classrooms.
Asynchronous Learning: 10 hours of independent study to reflect on STEM teaching and create a resource bank for the upcoming academic year.
Key Skill Development: Focus on observation, reflection, prediction, analysis, and communication, applicable across all primary levels and Special Education settings.

- Enquiry-based science using local environments
- Digital technology and mathematics connections
- Language integration
- Formative assessment
- SESE (Social, Environmental, and Scientific Education) integration
- Whole school STEM planning tailored to individual contexts
Schedule:
Live Online Sessions:
- Monday, July 1st: 9:30 am – 2:00 pm
- Tuesday, July 2nd: 9:30 am – 11:30 am
- Thursday, July 4th: 9:30 am – 2:00 pm
Independent Online Activities: 10 hours to be completed at your own pace
