ONLINE:SEN - Empowering Students with Special Educational Needs through Digital Tools

Join our online Summer course aimed at boosting Special Education Teachers' confidence in utilising digital technology to enhance the learning experience of students with SEN. Whether you're currently an SET or transitioning into one, seize this opportunity to leverage digital tools for increased engagement, improved literacy and numeracy skills, and behaviour management.
Our interactive sessions (10 hours live online on Zoom) feature presentations, debates, quizzes, and teamwork, ensuring a lively learning environment. During the independent online activities (10 hours in your own time), participants will be encouraged to explore and investigate programs and provide feedback to their assigned group as well as build up their portfolio for presentation to the full group during the final session.
This pilot course was inspected by the Department of Education in 2023:
“Tutors developed an excellent relationship with the participants in the synchronous sessions and they facilitated high quality discussions which contributed to participants' understanding and engagement very effectively.”
